Who is Josh Simms

Welcome to the Limitless Male blog! My name is Josh Simms, and I am a physician assistant (PA) in Omaha and Council Bluffs. I have been working at Limitless Male for three years. The goal of my posts, and the blog overall, is to address multiple topics and questions that we frequently encounter in the clinic. I hope to answer any questions you may have and provide education on what we do, how we do it, and why we do what we do at Limitless Male. Working at Limitless Male is personally and professionally fulfilling. I enjoy coming to work every single day and working with patients in order to meet their goals and improve their lives. At our clinics, our goal is to provide the best patient care and ensure our patients are meeting their goals and that they are feeling their best. We achieve that through hormone optimization, peptide therapy, supplementation, and weight management. I am a strong believer that if men are functioning at an optimal level, it is better for them personally, professionally, for their families, their jobs, and society as a whole.

Some background on me. Initially, I started working as a personal trainer in 2006. I have always had a passion and curiosity about the human body and how it functions. Personal training gave me the opportunity to work with clients and put that passion into motion. I was fortunate enough to train multiple physicians and pick their brains about medicine and their careers. This was the catalyst that drove me to get into medicine. I eventually quit being a personal trainer and started my undergraduate studies. While in undergrad, I earned my EMT license and worked for an ambulance service. I was able to cut my teeth in patient care as an EMT, and it allowed me to work closely with other healthcare providers. It was during that time I decided to pursue the career of PA. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2014 with a BS in Neuroscience with minors in chemistry and psychology. After that, I attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where I completed my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating, I initially worked in critical care medicine for a year and a half. I began working part-time at Limitless Male in 2018 and eventually transitioned to full time in 2019. I am married with three children – two girls and one boy. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing guitar, golfing, smoking meat, drinking whiskey/craft beer, and reading.
